Mother's Day DIY + Happy Friday

Mother's Day is this Sunday!  Have you all planned out the itinerary yet?  Bought the flowers, gifts or cards to show her how grateful you are for your existence?  If not, it's still not too late.  You can still buy a simple card from Duane Reade and tell her how much you love her.  Or if you're up for a challenge of making something to show her, that's even better!  Below are some great simple DIYs that I've found during the week.

1. Flowers are the next girl's best friend.  Other than diamonds, I don't think any woman would pass a self-made flower bouquet.  You can go to mywedding.com for complete instructions.  It'll only cost you $35, but seeing the reaction on your mom's face will be priceless!

2.  Like I said, flowers are the next girl's best friend.  This may require a bit more time to make than the fresh flower bouquet.  However, this felt dahlia flower brooch will last forever(assuming it's well-kept).  Click here to view complete instructions on how to make one.

 3.  What can I say?  I love flowers for Mother's Day.  Click here for complete instructions on how to make this plantable seeded paper flower.

4.  How about making a greeting card yourself(finally something other than flowers)?  As much as we love to read through thousands of cards to find the best one, making one yourself will definitely put a smile on her face.  For complete instructions on making a mother's day greeting card, go to My Little Hen.  It's so simple, and you'll have fun too!  :-)

That's all for now.  I hope this roundup is inspiring.  I wish you all a happy Friday. Enjoy Mother's day this Sunday!
