International Women's Day
Did you know that today is International Women's Day? I didn't know either until I read an article on Huffington Post by Kari Henley yesterday. Apparently, it's widely celebrated in Europe, Asia and Russia. The International Women's Day first started in 1911 in Australia, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. In honoring a 100 years of International Women's Day, Leni Herscher created a tribute to 100 women who have made significant contributions to the world from all around the globe.
